I Thought This Painting Was Finished... I Was Wrong | Alcohol Ink Transformation...WARNING UNEDITED!

Yesterday I called this alcohol ink painting finished. Today, I changed my mind. This video is UNEDITED and very very long because there is nothing cut out from start to finish. You may wish to FF and Rewind as you go... The piece felt too dark and heavy, so I went back in and began removing some of the darker ink, reworking areas that weren't bringing me joy, and introducing brighter colors inspired by stained glass imagery floating through my imagination. What began as a finished painting became a transformation. Layer by layer, color by color, I reshaped the artwork into something more vibrant, dynamic, playful, and full of light. This piece was created on Nara paper using alcohol ink markers, liquid alcohol inks, and a variety of tools and techniques. Throughout the process, Duncan snoozed peacefully at my feet, offering his usual artistic supervision. Now I can finally say...
