Making Homemade Pasta and Camping at Lake Powell

Spend a long weekend with us in Lake Powell, Arizona - the fourth stop on our cross country road trip from San Diego to South Jersey! We stayed at Wahweap RV & Campground right on Lake Powell! The campground was great with big spacious spots and our campsite's view was amazing!! The campground also has a resort with a few restaurants and cafes if you're not camping, plus boat rentals which we couldn't take advantage of since it was too early in the season :( but we'll have to go back! In this video, I'm making delicious food, including my go to chicken salad, homemade cavatelli and paired it with my garlicky green onion sauce! In addition we explored Lake Powell which was a short walk from the campsite, where we fished, enjoyed lunch and dipped out toes in! Recipes in this video... I've been in love with pasta my entire life, and lucky for me growing up in an Italian family meant lots of pasta! I fell in love with cooking & creating my own recipes after taking an Italian Cooking & Language class in Florence, Italy where I studied abroad in college. I moved to San Diego in 2012 and started making fresh pasta regularly when I met my husband, Hunter, who never had fresh pasta before!
