We were sick all holiday season, or rather, we had a massive food poisoning 🫣 We died, and today we're slowly rising from the dead. Interestingly, I've been dreaming and planning an 18-hour fast for a long time 🙈 You know how it is when you travel—there's a lot going on, and there's no time to lie around without energy from food. And then the fast came to us 🤷‍♀️ Surprisingly, we didn't get food poisoning somewhere in the city, but in the camper. We suspect it was something we cooked ourselves, something that spoiled before it tasted bad 🙄 We've eaten some strange things in various places around the world, and this time we did it in our own home. 🍀How do you get sick in a camper? Just like at home, we have a bathroom with a separate entrance (this is a very important aspect in a camper! If you have an upset stomach or other emergencies, you'll definitely thank us for reminding you 😀). We have a supply of drinking water and a warm shower for washing. We can always go outside if we're too in sync, as we mostly live in remote areas. However, in over five years of living in a camper, this has never happened before. We also have a bed, which is an indispensable remedy for lying down or sleeping off the symptoms when you're sick.
