*Major SWAT Response* VCSO responding to a barricaded suspect in Oak Park

Here you will see a major response from the Ventura County Sheriffs Department to a barricaded individual in Oak Park. Numerous SWAT, K9, and other special units from VCSO including the Bearcat, Medcat, and “Rook” responded to the scene Monday afternoon. The individual was barricaded from roughly 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, when he jumped out of a window and was quickly taken into custody by waiting deputies. You can hear dispatch audio as deputies scramble to apprehend him at 5:11. VCFD Tactical EMS (TEMS) evaluated the individual for injuries, which were not reported.
