With an extreme 27°C heat warning looming, we find a cheeky 4G signal pocket near Morrisons to get yesterday's video completely sorted, uploaded, and live on the channel before hitting the open road. As we navigate south down the stunning A487, we are officially unlocking a brand new map of West Wales and crossing the border into Pembrokeshire! After scoring some absolute liquid gold diesel at a great price, we check out Cardigan Bay and stumble across an absolute gem of a hidden public footpath. It leads us past a swanky cliffside golf course to a completely empty, crystal-clear "VIP beach" cove where Bruno burns off some serious puppy energy. After a quick frittata lunch and an afternoon siesta at a peaceful harbor in Lower Town, we decide to ditch a cramped, scummy £10 port car park in Fishguard for something way more dramatic. We push the 2.5 TDI Meat Wagon up some incredibly steep, single-track chicanes deep into a beautiful bit of no man's land on Dinas Mountain. We secure an elite, perfectly level off-grid park-up and hike to some massive prehistoric rock formations, all while battling Bruno's sudden obsession with eating local sheep poo! To wrap up the longest day of the year, we fire up the cooker for a proper Edwards Welsh beef steak burger celebration, watch a world-class sunset over Fishguard Bay, and cap it off with an ice-cold Mojito.
