Streets of New Zealand - Riccarton Road Christchurch

Come with me for an afternoon walk around one of the busiest streets in Christchurch, Riccarton Road. I've just finished work and it's peak traffic time, there is always lots of people trying to get home so I stopped to talk a walk, rather than wait in traffic. We start off in Hagley park, there are always a few people walking around here, it can be a bit dangerous at times, best not to be jogging around there in the dark. We turn on to Riccarton Road and walk all the way down to the Westfield shopping mall, there are a few interesting characters that pass us by. I try to get us some shots of all the shops there, they have changed a lot over time, one of my favourites is the famous $2 rice available at the Dumpling store.. but they were closed by the time we got there. The Westfield shopping mall is the biggest shopping centre in Christchurch and often very busy, I'll have to come down here on a Saturday and get a video.. hopefully I'm allowed to film inside the mall. To finish off we walk all the way back up to the starting point, along the way we find a Kawasaki Ninja Motorbike parked in an unusual place, it has some broken pieces on it..
