One Life to Live 5/16/1991

Rafe is frustrated by Rex’s seeming ability to terrorize Alex without leaving a trace. Charlotte starts to snoop in the Llanfair library, opening a giant gift that was just delivered, but she scurries back out the door when she hears Megan and Viki coming. Megan recognizes a scent, but can’t quite put her finger on Charlotte’s perfume. As her flight boards, Bo implores Cassie not to run away from her troubled relationship with Dorian. Cassie puts off a final decision and offers to help Bo get something from his house for Megan, because he still feels weird going there on his own. Sheila tracks down Troy to talk about how she ran away before when he said he loved her. Out on the patio, Charlotte sneezes, but Megan assumes it was Jessica, and vice versa. Alex comes to Llanfair with a present, and looking for Bo. Bo calls to tell Megan he has something blue for her, so she just needs to worry about things new, borrowed, and old. Jessica convinces Megan to let her see the dress, but she discovers it is missing. She finds a key from the Palace on the floor and calls Max to confirm her suspicions. When he tells her the room belongs to Charlotte Hesser, Megan leaves to confront her. Viki arrives at the hospital to find Larry helping Clint walk. Clint reiterates his determination to dance at Megan’s wedding. Bo shows Cassie the bracelet he’s planning to give Megan–a bracelet he bought for Sarah in Mendorra. After they leave the house, Alex steps out from another room, having been eavesdropping on the conversation. Tony asks Andy why she seems so depressed. Andy complains about Hunter referring to her as “just a friend.” Larry gives Clint the OK to attend the wedding. Roger visits Clint in the hospital. He says before long, he and Viki might be grandparents, but he hopes they finish fixing up the house first. Charlotte has Megan’s dress taken to the hotel basement where she is poised to douse it in kerosene and throw it in the incinerator. Megan shows up just before Charlotte opens the garment bag. The two tussle over the oil can, but Charlotte comes out on top. As Charlotte and Megan wrestle again, over the garment bag this time, Joey swoops in, grabs the dress, and runs out with it. Megan calls him a hero as she flees the scene as well.
