Besties, so many of you have been requesting we cover another episode and you know I had to deliver with this absolute mess of an episode that is season 2 episode 19, Joe & Phi. Help! I'm In A Secret Relationship is a fairly new show, with their first episode only premiering in summer of 2022. The basic premise of the show, is that someone in a relationship and/or friendship, feels as if they are being hidden. So, they reach out to Rahne Jones and Travis Mills to get help, and get to the truth of why they are being hidden. Every episode we have covered of this show, has been the messiest of messes and this one is no different. Joe & Phi have been together for over a year, and Joe's delusional self believes their relationship is going well despite never meeting anyone in Phi's life. Not her family, nor her friends, or any of her kids. To make matters worse, he knows that Phi has four kids, but he does not know their ages, or even their names. As if things were not already weird enough, he also has no idea where she lives, or who lives with her because he has never been to her house; but she regularly goes to his home. Clips of this episode went viral for all of the wrong reasons because both Phi & Joe are hiding quite big secrets from one another. Without the show present, it's unclear if either parties would have been honest with each other, but ultimately things did end up working out for the best. This reveal had my jaw on the floor, but it also evoked a lot of strong emotions within me, primarily confusion in both me and Travis. I was unprepared for Phi's secret, let alone Joe's secret because Phi exposed him as well in the process. Even now as I write this, I am unsure if I even believe what he had to say.
