How to Dress Like Yourself (For Free)!
My name is Kate, I am a published poet, I write with precision and restraint about girlhood, chronic illness, survival, and the body as both archive and battleground. These poems draw on myth, folklore, and cultural memory, not to romanticize suffering, but to name it honestly. What emerges is a body of work that honours tenderness without softening its edges, and grief without turning it into spectacle. In a chaotic world, it's hard to trust ourselves and our personal style. I believe that you deserve to feel expressive and happy when you get dressed. These videos are a gentle reminder on how to learn to trust yourself (and your style) again, and return back to the little you that just wanted to express themselves. I recently released a collection of poetry called Childhood Lore on Valentine’s Day, as a valentine to my readers. Check it out below. If you'd like to be styled by me, dm me @chamomildescloset on Instagram, or email me at [email protected]. Music by Kyle Green https://kylegreenmusic.bandcamp.com/ My health: I am chronically ill and disabled, I have GI and lung illnesses, as well as mental health diagnoses. When your body stops working in one way, often the rest of the system cascades into dysfunction. I need supplementary oxygen at home, and am on several biologic treatments. I'm often experiencing a lot of pain and many symptoms at great frequency and severity, almost all of the time. I'd appreciate if you'd be respectful in the comments.
