38a Wisteria Lodge (Part One) from His Last Bow: Reminiscences of Sherlock Holmes (1917) Audiobook

The first part of The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge entitled The Singular Experience of Mr. John Scott Eccles, which is itself part of the collection of eight stories 'His Last Bow' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle published in 1917. Mr Eccles arrives in a bit of a pother at Baker Street requesting help and the police are not far behind. I only managed to record the first half, but thought I'd post it anyway. The next part is 'The Tiger of San Pedro'. Once again this recording was made with an interesting microphone I'm playing with, and did not go through my trusty channel strip, so I had to master it on the hoof and in the box using some random plugins (!). All audio related comments (and any others) welcome - well, mostly ;-) This is a Magpie Audio production, narrated by Greg Wagland in 2019.
