This is because the 269C experienced a delay, which affected the travel time. If the delay hadn't occurred, the 269C would have won by a wide margin. Furthermore, the 269C clearly has a significant price advantage and allows for a one-way trip without transferring, making it still quite competitive. Since the final test results show that the MTR is faster than the Rt. 269C, the MTR is slower than the Rt. 269C when transporting.
