This is one of those guitars which you hold and immediately want to roll up your sleeve and just be with it for the moment. As a songwriter myself I appreciate instruments that bring something new and cool to the table. Yes, it's not a $2000 guitar but does it do the same job pretty decent ? Yes. It does that and still manages to inspire you along the ways too. That is my honest experience. Had the fretboard been polished well, I'd have no complains The pickups seem right, the way it sits feels nice, and it has all the regular tele characters plus some more.
