Przełęcz nad Łapszanką - punkt widokowy na TATRY | #łapszanka #dron

The pass over Lapszanka (940 meters above sea level) is a wonderful place in the Podhale region. The pass is a wide, picturesque saddle in the border ridge of Magura Spiska, above the valley of Lapszanka. The view from the pass can be admired by anyone and literally - for the viewpoint itself can be reached by car. If you spend your vacation in Zakopane, for example, it will take you about 30 minutes to get there (depending on road conditions). On the pass there is a beautiful highlander Loretto chapel (brick, whitewashed, shingled). Next to the chapel is a cross commemorating the death of a young farmer from Łapszanka, who was fatally struck by lightning in 1967 while warning others of an approaching storm. From the shrine there is a magnificent panorama, especially to the south, through the valley of Osturnia, to the forested main ridge of Magura Spiska, with the Belianske Tatras in all their splendor, behind them the High Tatras - Slovak and Polish, and to the west the Western Tatras. A yellow trail leads from the shrine, past the Polish-Slovak border that runs below, on the south side of the pass, and brings you to Osturnia in Slovakia.
