The Bialka Gorge is a landscape nature reserve located in Malopolska province, Nowy Targ district, in the area of Krempachy and Nowa Biala villages. The reserve includes a short gorge of the Białka River, between the Kramnica and Obłazowa rocks. 00:00 - Road over the Białka Gorge 01:02 - The Białka Gorge from a bird's eye view 03:22 - The road to and the Obłazowa Rock itself The area around the reserve is attractive to tourists and vacationers - Bialka is one of the cleanest and coldest rivers in Poland. The stony bank of the Bialka River is used as a beach, and the cold water provides cooling on hot days. The rocks around Bialka are attractive to rock climbers - there are about 30 climbing routes of varying difficulty. The Bialka Gorge is also a vantage point for viewing the Tatra Mountains. Some of the scenes for the films Janosik, The Third Frontier and Charles were filmed on the reserve. The Man Who Became Pope "Emotional Piano Improvisation" by Alexander Nakarada was used for this film.
