1975 Merc 850 Autopsy and Compression - Will it talk?!?!

Rebuilt the lower, new internal harness and distributor installed, verified timing which was way off (Idle/Primary was -9 ATDC and Max was +29 BTDC). Prior owner had the kill switch (orange wire) hooked to the rectifier with no Jumper Red for the switchbox. I suspect the switch is fried due the the Direct Current having no were to go and hopefully the Switch did not follow suit. This is engine is a Bull... With compression that averages OVER 173 PSI...... We'll get it talkin right... Then we will tame it!!!
