Mercury Black Max 150 HP / Compression Test / It Needs a Re-Build!

Episode #2! Seeing if the Ol' Black Max will run and it's does not look good! Compression check was good on the port side but the starboard side... it bad. After the compression check, looked under the water jacket then had to remove the head. I found the problem, just not sure what caused it. I assume it was hot, REAL HOT and burnt the head gasket but I'm still left scratching my head that left me more questions tan answers. The engine is not complete toast, it is fixable but I'm not going to invest the time or money to try it. I put all the parts back on and the engine will go up for sale once removed from the boat. The next video should be removing the engine and assessing the damage to the transom and the floor. Thanks for watching!
