Ex-Football Player Interfered as Pregnant Girlfriend Died, EMT Says

EMT Andrea Rose testified that when she arrived at Jade Benning’s apartment on February 25, 2023, Benning was unresponsive, not breathing, and had no pulse, with visible signs of distress including frothy vomit. Rose said Blaise Taylor appeared frantic and at times interfered with efforts to assess and treat Benning, prompting EMS to quickly move her to the ambulance due to an unsafe scene. Despite aggressive life-saving measures including CPR, medication, and airway intervention, Benning did not respond and was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital in critical condition.
