2 Days Ice Fishing in Maine… A Trip We Won’t Forget

What happens when you put a crew of buddies on the ice for two days in the Maine wilderness? This is what it’s all about. The crew heads to Moosehead Lake in Maine for a full-on ice fishing trip—battling wind, crossing pressure ridges, and chasing fish. From near mishaps on the ice to nonstop laughs, great fishing, and even better company… this trip delivered. 👉 Day 1:Everyone arrives, fights tough wind conditions, and gets set up. The crew gets into fish and settles into camp life—wrapping up the night with dinner and hanging out back at Rick’s camp. 👉 Day 2:Things turn up. More action, more flags, and more fish on the ice. The energy ramps up, and so does the fun. The crew caught brook trout, salmon, and lake trout (what we call “togue” here in Maine), with steady action throughout the day and plenty of chaos mixed in. Saturday night, part of the crew—including Greg Gove of STAGR Gear—heads back to Vermont, while the rest keep it rolling… 🔥 The trip finishes at Lake Parlin Lodge with a podcast recording, followed by a bonfire set right on the ice—capping off an unforgettable Maine adventure. From chasing flags and losing fish to busting chops and making memories… this is what it’s all about. 🎥 Crew on the trip: Neil Pendleton Rick Labbe Joe Kruse Jeff Paradis & his grandson Oscar Greg Gove (STAGR Gear) Phil Mills Griffin Buckwalter Special thanks to Phil Mills and Griffin Buckwalter for capturing incredible footage throughout the trip. 🎬 Edited by Ethan Bubar- Huge shoutout to Ethan for putting this film together and bringing the whole trip to life.
