Singapore Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam on Monday (Jul 3) told parliament that he rented the state property at 26 Ridout Road after deciding to put his family home up for sale. Mr Shanmugam stressed that he was “not making any money from the difference” in rent by living at 26 Ridout Road while his family home is being rented out in the meantime.
