MK7 Golf GTI Build – Race Car Project in Dubai 🇦🇪 | Pt.1

In Episode 1 of our MK7 Golf GTI race car build series, we start stripping the car in preparation for its transformation into a full FIA-spec track machine. Front bumper, bonnet, wings, side skirts, and all four doors are removed to make way for the ABS Motorsport widebody kit. This episode focuses on the first mock-fit, trimming, and realignment of the fibreglass widebody panels — including the front and rear wings, side skirts, bonnet, and arches. It’s a trial-and-error process, but precision is key at this stage — every panel needs to line up before we begin body prep, cage install, and paint.
