Woodturning - Birdsmouth Bowl (freshly cut green cherry wood)

This week I have a go at Woodturning a birdsmouth bowl. I've been wanting to try this for ages but have been waiting for the right wood to show up. Two weeks ago I cut down an old (mostly dead) cherry tree, and some of the small limbs are the perfect shape for this project. The colouring and grain within this wood are spectacular. Follow along through a few minor mishaps and see how to make a lovely birdsmouth bowl. Being so wet, it wasn't possible to sand and apply a finish, so I'll probably revisit this in a future video.
