3801 Mainline Trial to Moss Vale with 4201 6 February 2020

On the day Transport Heritage is doing a main line load trial to Moss Vale for 3801. It was assisted by 4201 for load and operational purposes. The train was 280-300 tons in weight for this trip. I followed the train from Picton to Moss Vale and back to Thirlmere branch. The trial was a success this concluding trials after a 12 year restoration, it will now have any repairs completed and be painted ready for its relaunch in to heritage operations.
