3801 on the Newcastle Flyer 2022
On October 15th and 16th, 2022, Transport Heritage NSW operated a steam special recreating the famed Newcastle Flyer. To do this, locomotive 3801 hauled a train of passengers from Sydney to Newcastle and back at speed and unassisted each day. This video includes my footage from onboard the Flyer on Saturday 15th, as well as a clip from Wondabyne Station on Sunday 16th. Filmed on iPhone 12 Pro Max.
