South Park (Versão Nacional Gradiente | Quick Gameplay) Nintendo 64

South Park is a first-person shooter game developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the Nintendo 64, based on the early seasons of the animated series of the same name. Initially released in North America in December 1998 and later in Europe in May 1999 (some sources say it was released in Brazil in the same month), the title uses a modified version of the technology employed in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. The player takes control of characters such as Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny to face creatures and situations loosely inspired by episodes of the series. The game includes a single-player campaign and local multiplayer modes for up to four participants. Gradiente, the official Nintendo representative in Brazil at the time, released a Brazilian version of South Park for Nintendo 64 with support for Brazilian Portuguese, something extremely uncommon on the console (even more so for Brazil). In addition to these games, FIFA 99 and Shadow Man were also released with menu translations. Regarding South Park, only the menus and some dialogue were translated. NOTE: To avoid future music copyright issues, the opening and background music have been removed. 0:00 - Beginning showing the game cover in the Brazilian version. 0:40 - One of the messages in Brazilian Portuguese in the game. 0:45 - Final part of the opening and intro of the game. 1:14 - Game menu in Brazilian Portuguese. 1:24 - Character selection and more menus in Brazilian Portuguese. 1:40 - One of the few lines subtitled in Brazilian Portuguese followed by the first level. #SouthParkN64 #SouthPark #Nintendo64 #N64 #Gradiente #AcclaimEntertainment #IguanaEntertainment #RetroGaming #RetroGamingBrasil #VideoGameHistory #GamePreservation #BrazilianLocalization #N64Brasil #GamingArchives #ClassicGames
