This weekend, we worked on building a traditional outdoor stove in our country house yard. After waiting for the concrete base to dry, we stacked bricks and finished it with clay mortar. In between work, we harvested fresh lettuce and chives from our garden and made a simple but delicious dinner. Acacia flowers were falling like snow in the wind, and our garden flowers are slowly starting to bloom. There’s always something to do in the countryside, but these simple moments make this life feel so meaningful.
