We thought country life would be peaceful and relaxing, but early summer in the countryside is much busier than we imagined🌿 After just one rain, the weeds seemed to grow overnight, and our garden started looking more like a field of grass than a flower garden. We spent the weekend pulling weeds, fixing small things around the yard, and taking care of the garden little by little. Still, there were small joys too. Picking fresh mulberries, cooking braised pork ribs in a traditional cauldron, and ending the day with a simple homemade meal. It’s tiring sometimes, but maybe that’s what makes country life feel so real and meaningful.
