Varallo Sesia - Italy Walking Tour

Varallo is a small mountain town, situated in the Province of Vercelli. This charming little town is one of the prettiest in the whole Piedmont region. Commonly known as Varallo, the town's full name, Varallo Sesia, comes from the fact it sits on the banks of the River Sesia, that flows past it. Another body of water flows through the town, the Mastallone Stream which flows into the Sesia. One of the attractions of the town is the "Ponte Antonini" (Antonini Bridge), which looks down on to the Mastallone and attracts swimmers during the summer months. The colorful historic buildings, the narrow streets, the shops and restaurants makes the visit a charming experience.
