Criticism of the RNA world hypothesis: Long RNA chains (200-300 nucleotides) are required for self-replication, but the probability of their random formation is extremely low. It does not explain how the genetic code and the transition to DNA and proteins arose (the "chicken and egg" problem). Alternative ideas: life could have originated on minerals (the "primordial pizza" hypothesis). Myth two: Science does not stand still. The Miller-Urey experiments demonstrated only the formation of amino acids, not nucleotides. Today, other models are being studied: hydrothermal vents, molecular self-organization (the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction). The third myth: thermodynamics and life. Living systems are open; they reduce entropy through energy (for example, solar energy). Examples of self-organization: chemical oscillatory reactions. The RNA world hypothesis is only one of many, and it does not solve all the problems of abiogenesis. Evolution ≠ abiogenesis: even if Darwin explains the development of life, the question of its origin remains open. Science cannot yet create life "in a test tube," which leaves room for alternative hypotheses (including religious ones). Science is gradually approaching the mystery of life, but many questions still await answers. Modern theories are not dogma, but working models that are refined or replaced over time.
