Aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Hwy 88 Creston, NC area

Recorded on 09/30/2024. A lot of the trees had finally got cleared and we were able to get out. We were still without power/internet/cell service until we got to West Jefferson. I think this was the day we managed to get a generator from Lowes. I know many more had way more damage, but in Creston, we had it the 2nd worst out of Ashe County.
