Drift Creek Falls Hike - Unique Waterfall View from a Suspension Footbridge

Join us on a 3-mile hike to one of Oregon’s most unique waterfall viewpoints: a suspension footbridge between the cliffs on either side of Drift Creek. From the suspension bridge, you can see the waterfall from above, and continuing along the trail to the stream below provides another beautiful view of the waterfall from below. Located in the Siuslaw National Forest, the trailhead is about 40 minutes’ drive from Lincoln City or about 2 hours’ drive from Portland. It's a great year-round hiking option, including in winter (though check the weather before you go). This video was taken on January 17! The other standout feature of this hike is the mossy forest along the way. The first half of the hike is all downhill to the falls, so while it isn't long or strenuous, be prepared for an entirely uphill hike on the way back!
