Salt Creek Falls: Oregon’s Second Tallest Waterfall

Sometimes the best adventures are the simple ones. In this video, we leave the Willamette Valley behind and head through portions of the Willamette National Forest and into Oregon’s Cascade Mountains to visit one of the state’s most spectacular waterfalls: Salt Creek Falls. At 286 feet tall, it’s Oregon’s second-tallest waterfall and one of the most impressive views we’ve experienced on a relatively short hike. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the mountain scenery, explore the viewing areas, take in the sound and power of the falls, and breathe in the fresh forest air that makes Oregon’s wilderness so special. We also make a stop near Too Much Bear Lake before grabbing a quick bite on the way home. Whether you’re planning your own visit or simply looking for a little Pacific Northwest inspiration, we hope you’ll join us for the adventure. If you enjoy hiking, waterfalls, travel, and making the most of everyday adventures, we’d love to have you subscribe and follow along. Because life’s too short to save the good days for later. #SaltCreekFalls #OregonWaterfalls #WillametteNationalForest #OregonHiking #AdventureIsNow #PacificNorthwest #CascadeMountains #TravelOregon #WaterfallHike #WeekendAdventure
