The Haunted 1951 Stockport Corporation Bus. Museum of Transport. Cheetham Hill. Manchester.
The Stockport corporation crossley bus no.321 was involved in an accident in 1955 that saw the tragic death of a 6 year old boy. Over the next two decades the bus remained mostly at the bus depot and when a group of bus enthusiasts bought the bus in the late 60s, they were surprised at the good condition and low mileage ...soon finding our that the bus drivers refused to take the bus out due to it being haunted by the ghost of a small boy. Today...the bus is part of the collection at the Museum of Transport in Cheetham Hill in Manchester....and I'm going to get on that bus!!
