This is NOT a race… it's a PARTY 😳 | Almansa Half Marathon from the inside Last Saturday, May 16th, the city of Almansa in Albacete hosted the 25th edition of its historic Half Marathon, an event now firmly established as one of the most vibrant and lively popular races in all of Spain. The 25th anniversary edition brought together nearly 3,000 runners from across the country for an absolutely spectacular afternoon where Almansa once again proved that this race is much more than just a half marathon. Because if there's one thing that makes this race different, it's the people. During the 21 kilometers, the entire town literally takes to the streets to cheer on the runners tirelessly: brass bands, music, enthusiastic locals, constant applause, and dozens of tables overflowing with food and drinks transform every stretch of the course into a true community celebration.
