Ingredients for the Cream (Muhallebi)✨ • 1 liter milk • 200 ml sugar • 3 tablespoons flour • 2 tablespoons starch • 2 teaspoons vanilla • 1 tablespoon crushed walnuts Instructions:✨ Cook the milk, sugar, flour, and starch over medium heat, stirring continuously until it thickens and starts to boil. Remove from heat, add the vanilla, and mix well. Let it cool. After it has cooled, add 1 tablespoon of crushed walnuts and stir. Ingredients for the Cake✨ • 100 g roasted shredded phyllo dough (kadayıf) • 3 eggs • 200 ml sugar • 200 ml vegetable oil • 200 ml crushed walnuts • 5 tablespoons flour • 3 teaspoons baking powder • 2 teaspoons vanilla Instructions:✨ Mix the eggs and sugar well. Add the vegetable oil and continue mixing. Then add the crushed walnuts, roasted kadayıf, flour, baking powder, and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F). Baking time may vary depending on your oven. Note:✨ The cake should be hot, while the cream and syrup should be cold. Pour the cold syrup over the hot cake as shown in the video. Let the cake absorb the syrup for 15 minutes. Then spread the cooled cream on top. Finally, garnish with roasted kadayıf.
