UNHEALTHY CORADIA holds up EVERYTHING!!! Freight Trains and RARE moves at Bonemill Lane Bridge

A move from Wolverton to Laira (in Plymouth) had turned out to an absolute nightmare for the driver as there were many faults on the train. Most people would ask “what happened”? The Class 175 was running on time (ish) from Wolverton to Willesden and then had a brake pipe failure which meant the train couldn’t move. As this happened on a major freight line connecting Willesden, Acton & the west. This took nearly two and a half hours to resolve and the signallers had still put it down as the lowest priority. After spending a further 30 minutes in Langley Loop, the signallers finally realised that the driver’s tea was getting later and later so they got him moving quite rapidly running three hours late. Just before reaching Westbury, they decided to cancel the service and stick it into the Patney Siding overnight and resume the service the next day. Freight Trains As the 175 held up pretty much all the freight trains heading to the Whatley & Merehead Quarries everything ‘freight wise’ was running around 100 minutes late (1hr 40mins). We do see a Triple header Class 66s though so it was worth the wait! Please Make Sure To Like And Subscribe (Filmed on 13/04/2026) #train #trainspotter #trainspotting #trains #railway
