Hiking Calico Tanks Trail - Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area - Las Vegas, Nevada
On February 26 2026 I hiked Calico Tanks Trail in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area just outside Las Vegas, Nevada. I was very surprised at the amazing beauty this trail had to offer. It was fun scrambling on the rocks up to the Calico Tanks and the amazing overlook of Las Vegas and surrounding area. This hike includes stunning views of Las Vegas, some light climbing and rock scrambling, and stunning landscapes.
