Peluso Microphone Lab Presents: Yellow Couch Sessions Sean Rowe: My Little Man When we had Sean Rowe (http://www.anti.com/artists/sean-rowe/) in last fall, we were lucky enough to have him record four songs from his masterpiece "Madman" https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/mad.... Until now, we've only posted two of those songs. I'm so excited to share the first of the remaining tracks with you. As someone with a young son, I connected with this track almost immediately. I love the honesty that is laid bare in Sean's writing and in this track in particular. We were able to use three of my very favorite microphones on earth for this session: For his vocals, we used Peluso's 2247se. To get Sean's signature guitar sound, we close mic'd his acoustic with a P-84 and blended it with his amp, which we mic'd with Peluso's tube ribbon mic, the TR-14. All audio for Yellow Couch Sessions is recorded and mixed by Steven Foxbury. This video was shot and edited by Matt Dayak with Dan Rugh manning the second camera.
