Among the most common symptoms is abnormal uterine bleeding. It is most frequently seen in women over 55 years of age. Diagnostic methods include transvaginal or pelvic ultrasound, endometrial biopsy, and pelvic MRI, among others. Treatment in early stages is based on endometrial staging surgery, which involves the removal of the uterus, ovaries, and other abdominal organs.
