This is the first time I am traveling to Oman, a country in the Middle East that borders the Oman Sea from the north, Saudi Arabia and the UAE from the west, and Yemen from the south. After arriving in Muscat, the capital of Oman, we chose the magnificent The Chedi Hotel for our initial stay. To start the trip, we went to the Muscat fruit market, which has many different kinds of tropical fruits, like coconuts and fresh coconut water. We also tried the very tasty bananas of this region. The original Omani fruit mine is in Salalah, which we will talk about it in detail on our next reports. Shayeb Khalaf local cafe was the place where we tried the traditional Omani breakfasts, they had a great menu to choose from, balaleet which has vermicelli, saffron, cardamom and sugar, lentil soup, Makroof Omani bread which is amazing and shakshuka scrambled eggs. We tried a breakfast called keema, which is minced mutton with beans, masala sausage with onions and tomatoes and special spices, Omani Qurus or pancakes with date syrup and honey. It was exceptional. The Chedi Luxury Hotel has different sections, for example, they have a pool bar where, while you are swimming , they will serve food and hookah to you. Other facilities such as boutiques, spas, sports club, golf course, tennis court are provided here, and last but not least, the longest swimming pool in the Middle East with a length of 103 meters is in this beautiful hotel that you can enjoy. The Chedi Hotel has different rooms and suites, the suite where we stayed was facing the sea with a very beautiful terrace.
