Auto racks are used to haul cars, trucks, and SUVs securely. Class One model works has produced a newly tooled 20-2 auto rack, an extra tall version designed to carry large personal vehicles on three levels. The 20-2 auto rack was 20’ 2” tall, made to match the maximum height of loaded double stack cars. These cars were taller than most other auto racks and were given TTQX reporting marks. 20-2 auto racks had three levels internally and were designed to be tall enough to fit SUVs and pickup trucks. Class One has modeled four distinct variations of these cars. In this review Dan examines two examples. The Santa Fe car is a Type A, representing a new build car. The CNW car is a Type D, representing a car that was refurbished. As usual, Dan evaluates the model train's packaging, prototype accuracy, paint & detail, and how well it operates and conforms to applicable standards.
