Many shops closed! Cameron Ipoh Part 4: Cowan Street Chicken by Ann Xin 高温街安心芽菜鸡饭 & Kinta River Walk

Part 4 of our Cameron Highlands and Ipoh Trip, this is Day 2 when we had come down to Ipoh and checked in our new accommodation since the first one was cancelled. Check out Part 3 for the drama! After checking in and showering we ventured out to Ipoh town for a bite, since it was early evening we wanted some good Ipoh food but some of the places we visited were closed due to it being Hari Raya Aidilfitri. We finally visited Cowan Street Chicken by Ann Xin 高温街安心芽菜鸡饭 on Jalan Raja Ekram which is a famous Ipoh Beansprout Chicken restaurant. We had a lovely early dinner, and later that evening we went out again to visit Kinta River Walk, also in Ipoh city. The kids had an enjoyable time there driving bumper cars and such.
