Woodturning - Walnut Bowl With A Hidden Limb

Walnut Bowl With A Hidden Limb In this video I turned a Walnut bowl, and was pleasantly surprised to find a limb inside that created some cool grain patterns. Because of the limb I had to fill in the cracks around it with quick coat epoxy. This stuff works great for filling large voids like this. Hey guys, I have a bowl turning class coming up Saturday February 6th it starts at 11 am PST. This will be a live class on Zoom., but If you're not available to join in live you can still signup for the class. It will be recorded and you can view it anytime. We'll turn two bowls, one with a chuck and one without. I'll also turn one with gouges and one with carbide. I hope to see you there!! I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodworking, ties it all together. We do a lot of epoxy projects as well as woodturning.
