Cancer-Surviving Teen Can Dance with Surgery Adding Backwards Ankle to Knee
This may look like a normal girl dancing out her dreams on pointe. But if you look closer, she's moving with a prosthetic. Gabi Shull was diagnosed at 9-years-old with knee cancer and needed her leg amputated. She got a special surgery to remove the diseased knee. Her lower left leg was then rotated and reattached to her upper leg. Her angle now serves as her new knee. The unique surgery isn't for everyone, but Gabi says it lets her be a kid. #InsideEdition
