Sophia has just turned ten and is transgender. She looks like a girl and feels like a girl. However, Sophia was born a boy. At just four years old, she decided she no longer wanted to be a boy. She only wants to wear skirts and dresses and is growing her hair long. At first, her parents thought it might just be a phase. But Sophia is certain: "I was born a boy, but I've always been a girl. Ever since I was very little!" She reacts aggressively when she is addressed by her former name. ...
