Rosebank: UK’s largest untapped oil field approved for development
According to the government the Rosebank oil field will bring jobs, improve the UK's finances and lessen our dependence on hostile oil producers like Russia. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe) Critics point out that fuel extracted from Rosebank will mostly belong to oil giant Equinor, whose largest shareholder is the Norwegian state. And as most of the oil will be sold internationally, the economic gains for the UK will be limited.
