Yoga Nidra , NSDR - Non Sleep Deep Rest, is a technique of guided meditation and body scan used to bring one to a deeply rested sleep state. Yet remaining awake and aware. A disconnect from the thinking mind and world of thought into the sensations of feeling and being within the layers of self. A complete reset and rejuvenation of the bodies nervous system. Yoga Nidra is a practice that has been devotional for hundreds of years, an ancient practice. However recent studies and research have allowed its science to balance with its spiritual aspect with testimonials of deep healing for anxiety, stress, depression and many other conditions affecting the nervous system. I can only testify the deep healing it has had in my life, a therapy that has helped me with PTSD and social anxiety after the loss of my father and the deep grief and pain that came with that. This 20 minute guided Nidra is effortless. All you need is to lay down, get cosy, even create a sacred Nidra nest...and open up to receiving this beautiful technique. As you listen to the guidance of my voice taking you through the layers of self into the subtlest states you will feel a slowing down of the brain waves and a true sense of calm and rest appear. Into deeper states of consciousness you will be guided safely to sit within the space of bliss and hearts desire. Setting an intention, or sankalpa is the seed to this practice and with consistency and trust you will notice the changes within the body and mind. The guided body scan a real journey of self to open the layers and invite positive bhavanas into the deep subconscious. Healing to beyond cellular level. This specific meditation will take you through a body scan to rest awareness upon each point. Creating harmony upon body, mind connection.
