Isabelle Nanty looks back on her beginnings in theater. Upon arriving in Paris, she failed numerous auditions before finally enrolling at the Cours Florent drama school. She managed to join the free class with Francis Huster as her teacher, but was expelled in her second year. Later, she became his assistant director and then a director herself at Jacques Weber's theater in Nice.
