I MISSED NZSS Cross Country NATIONALS

I spent months preparing for NZSS Cross Country Nationals, and everything was tracking in the right direction. Then, during the week of the race, I developed pain on the outside of my knee that was diagnosed as IT Band Syndrome. Just days before one of the biggest races of my season, I had to make the decision not to race. It was frustrating, disappointing, and honestly difficult to accept after all the work that had gone into getting there. In this video, I share what happened, why I didn't start, and where I go from here. Injuries are part of running, but they don't have to define the journey. If you've ever missed a race because of injury, I'd love to hear your story in the comments. 🏃 Follow along as I document the highs, the lows, and everything in between on my journey to becoming the best runner I can be.
