Transforming Zen Rocks on the Gelli Plate
Demonstration of transforming three Gelli prints of rocks from a previous demonstration "Zen Rocks on the Gelli Plate." My intent was to transform three Gelli prints that had potential to be enhanced into completed compositions. I discussed the importance of arranging added elements (printed rocks) before gluing and adding paint and stamped colors. I demonstrated gluing collage elements, applying transparent washes of High Flow fluid acrylic paint (Prussian Blue, Sepia, Burnt Sienna, and Quinacridone Magenta), and stamping textural elements with a thin piece of cardboard.
