Venice has been on our bucket list forever - but wow, this city is not exactly budget-friendly 😅 In this video, we share how we explored one of the world’s most iconic destinations while trying to keep costs in check. We based ourselves in Mestre, which definitely helped the budget, even if Venice was still one of the pricier stops on our journey. From there, we wandered the famous canals, admired the stunning architecture, and took a vaporetto ride down the Grand Canal - an unforgettable experience that gave us amazing views for a fraction of the cost of a gondola ride. We also hopped over to colorful Burano, with its rainbow-bright houses and laid-back island charm, and visited Murano to see the island famous for its centuries-old glassmaking tradition.
